When I lived in Clewiston, Florida I would drive 8 miles down a dirt road to work on an alligator farm, and on my way to work in the morning it was always a joy to see the US Sugar Train passing through the expansive feilds of sugar cane that grew taller than your head and reflected the ripples of the wind blowing across thousands of acres of greenery. The irrigation canals often featured alligators swimming to and from their favorite basking spots. It was a beautiful drive every day in "The Sweetest Town in America."
